Today we completed the Digital Lesson in the Think Central website.
1.  Login
2.  Go to My Library
3. Go to Module F (bottom right hand corner)
4. Go to Weather and Climate
5. Choose the play button (digital lesson) next to Lesson 3 "What influences weather?"
6. Complete the following worksheet :

Today we learned about what those darn meteorologists are talking about when they say things like "a high pressure system is moving in..." or "we're going to be seeing a warm front coming through tomorrow..."

I'm noticing a lack of effort in homework.  You tend to work hard and do a great job and live up to my expectations in class, please continue that at home as well! 

Also, if you see this tonight and I see you tomorrow morning before school starts you'll get a treat!

Please complete this assignment during the class period.  What you don't finish will be homework.

Today we completed the Dew point lab.  Many students got fairly close to the dew point posted on the NOAA website.  Kudos to 5th period for their stellar performance today they earned themselves out of tonight's homework!!!

We wrapped up the atmosphere today by finishing our lab and taking a mini "fake" test to see what information we retained.

We started a virtual lab today about what happens to the temperature as you move up in the atmosphere.  We will finish it tomorrow in class.

The tests looked great! Most people passed with flying colors! Hooray!
We started reading about the atmosphere today.

Today we took the Heat and Heat Transfer Lab.  This week, Friday, is the last day to retake the STEM vocab test!  Don't Forget!  Tomorrow we start the Atmosphere!

1. Corrected Reflections 31-40 today. 
2.  Began a STEM lab.  We are building soda cozies and testing them under heat lamps tomorrow!

Today we wrapped up the Heat Transfer mini-lab and corrected it and turned it in.  TEST either FRIDAY OR TUESDAY

1.  Watch once without writing anything down.
2.  Watch a second time pausing to create 6 questions for your partners to answer.  (Questions cannot just be simple questions such as "What is radiation?"  Make them a little tougher, make your partners think).
3.  Write the answers to the questions on the back side of your paper.
